Activites

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) strives to enhance value in each area of academics as well as administration. The IQAC conducts activities for teaching as well as non – teaching faculty. Various programmes are held in the form of FDP’s, workshops, conferences, research oriented expert sessions and many more. These activities enhance the professional and personal skills of the staff and thereby these skills can be transmitted to the stakeholders.

IQAC ACTIVITIES

Workshop on E-Content

IQAC organised a workshop on E-Content development for the teaching faculty on 1st September 2018. This was organised with an aim to enable faculty members to adopt modern use of e-content for augmenting learning amongst the students and keeping pace with the changing era of higher education. Resource persons for the workshop were:

  1. Mr. Kanishka Khatri-Manager Information Security and Risk Management-Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance.
  2. Mr. Bhavesh Shah- Department of I.T. Vidyalankar School of Information Technology

Faculty Development programme

A FDP on Fitness Fusion was organised by IQAC for the staff of our campus on 2nd February 2019.
Fitness is very essential for each one of us today. It is not only essential to have a healthy body, but
equally important to maintain mental health. In view of this, IQAC organised a one day workshop on
Fitness Fusion. The resource persons were:

Mrs. Veena Bose (Yoga Expert) – Yoga for Holistic Living

Ms. Shonan Padte (Aerobics and Zumba Expert) – Dance and Music Therapy for Stress Management

National Conference

A National Conference on Dimensions of Emotional Intelligence: Frontiers and Beyond was organised on 23rd February 2019. The Conference was inaugurated by Shri Deepak Mukadam- Chancellor’s Nominee, University of Mumbai . The key note speaker was Ms. Chanda Hate, Experienced HR and OD Expert. The research papers were published in the UGC approved journal bearing ISBN number and impact factor. Resource persons for the conference weer:

Workshop for Administration staff

A One day workshop on Increasing Efficiency in Office Administration was organized on 2nd March 2019 for Office staff in and around Mumbai. Staff from around 30 Colleges participated and we received and overwhelming response making the event a success. Sessions organized were as under:

  • Soft Skills and Public Relations by Ms. Aditi Rai – Experienced Corporate Trainer.
  • How to Prepare Budget by Dr. Ravindran Karthadi – Principal, Shree Narayan Guru College of Commerce.
  • Hands on Session on Shortcuts to Excel by Mr. Suketu Deliwala – I.T In-charge, MPAVS.
